My health was in bad shape; my mental health was worse. I was looking at additional back surgeries and was gaining additional weight. I met Dr. Lazarus, my first meeting with him he took the time and explained what was happening both physiologically and psychologically. He told me that what was happening wasn't my fault. He guided me through the process, created a plan, first getting me through my next surgeries. Once completed, we created a long-term plan under close observation. It began to work. Weight slowly dropped off, my energy creeped back and the aches and pains I was feeling began subsiding. Ultimately due to my injuries that I had sustained we felt the route of surgery was best and I underwent a gastrectomy (sleeve) that along with Dr. Lazarus and Jamie Shriver, I have lost 105 lbs. and kept 93 lbs. off for 2 years. They work with me every month, they know me, my family and they never forget that I am a human being. They care and they have my TRUST. Please don't suffer any longer.
